Qualifications
Individuals and teams are helped to gain recognition through the completion of tailored accredited learning focussed on measurable return on investment. As such a systematic approach to leadership and management development is used and a framework of leadership and management standards and competencies is central to the effective development of managers to encourage a learning culture within your organisation. All qualifications are competence-based and follow a learning programme with differing assessment strategies depending on whether they are vocational qualifications whose assessment is evidence-gathering portfolio-based or an ILM accredited qualification which uses a mix of knowledge assessments, work-based assignments and management projects as the main assessment methods. The following qualifications are offered by the Centre
Endorsed and Development Awards ILM Endorsed and Development Awards enable organisations to gain external validation and recognition for their own programmes which have been specially designed to support their specific organisational needs and tailored to their own internal systems and practices. The key requirement of these Awards is that the programme is based on management and/or leadership development. The major difference between the two types of Awards is that the Endorsed Award must include some form of participant assessment whereas the Development Awards do not require this component. In effect ILM is approving and monitoring the quality of the programme whilst giving total flexibility in its design to the client. |
